MOT

MOT

An MOT is an annual examination on cars, other light vehicles (including some Light Goods Vehicles) and private buses to confirm that, at the time of the test, the vehicle met the minimum acceptable environmental and road safety standards required by law. However, please note that this does not guarantee the roadworthiness of the vehicle for the duration of the MOT certificate and it is the vehicle owner's responsibility to ensure that your vehicle is maintained.

You can submit your vehicle for test up to 30 days before the due date. This means you can have up to 13 months of MOT.

An MOT reminder a month before your vehicle is due will ensure you do not have to remember, this can be via letter, email or text, whichever suits you.

We can MOT the following classes of vehicle:

Class 4 for cars & light vans.

Class 5L for Minibuses up to 16 seats (excluding driver).

Class 7 for commercial vans.
